Job Description
PrecisionERP is seeking a Technical Support Analyst - DNS Modernization for a 6 month contract at our client located in Victoria BC. Most work can be done remote.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in building custom DNS and DHCP servers and services.
- Experience in migration of in-house DNS implementations to a third-party application (preferably Infoblox)
- In-depth understanding of the DNS and DHCP data structures.
- Understanding of Windows DNS and its integration with other DNS services.
- Experience scripting in Perl. - 10 years
- Experience in JavaScript - 5 years
- 10 years experience maintaining Solaris Servers.
- Experience migrating Unix scripts in Solaris to Linux compatible scripts.
- Understanding of Remedy Action Request System (ARS) and development of Remedy Applications.
- Understanding of network devices, components
- Experience with datasets ServiceNow and CAS
